Steve Meleka from Noble Meleka & Co required someone to work on his customers website www.anglianpumping.com.
The design and some scripting was provided but the managment system, e-commerce and site templates were needed. The site currently holds hundreds of pumping products, all categorised into a self descriptive folders easy for google to index and list!
As another channel, the management system also exports a file ready for import into google base. Future developments will no doubt see this being an automated process.
Also new to the site is category, price high - low and manufacturer filtering, text search and soon to come is an easier ordering process.

The Technical Bit
Using Active Server Pages (ASP) combined with AJAX, Javascript and Jquery techniques - your resulting web project will be attractive yet functional.
ASP lets you add amazing functionality - from uploading custom photos, to giving you an full e-commerce products system.
Javascript and Jquery Plugins can give you an easy to use and nice user experience - while keeping the functionality that ASP provides.
Using all of the above is not so much a skill, but more of an art. Taking the best bits from each system, using their strengths and leaving behind their weaknesses.
Already Have A Website?
